Wooden case with curved shield, polychrome painted with dial ring with Roman numerals, outer minuterie with framing of tendril garland; the spandrels painted with stylized flowers, the bow field with bust portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte. Movement with weight drive and strike. Case dimensions: h. 37.5 x w. 27 x d. 18 cm; l. with pendulum 100 cm (movement runs in short test, striking mechanism triggers, but hammer needs adjustment).
