Veneered rectangular burlwood case with rounded pediment on four cast volute-shaped feet; gilt corner decorations and ornamental pediment and handle. Silvered dial face with gilt corner figures; applied dial ring with Roman hour numerals and Arabic minuterie; upper cutout with moon phases; black hands in Louis XV style; half-hour strike on two-tone bell. Inscribed "John Warmink" on dial; "JWA" maker's signet affixed to back door; tested for function; key present; includes instructions for setting moon phase. Phases-of-the-moon clock, moon phase, John Warmink, Netherlands 1960; root wood, mechanic clockwork to wind up (including key), clockwork chimes every 30 minutes with two little hammers on two bells.
