A pair of Chinese famille rose moonflask vases, dating from the 19th century. Each extremely decorative with a turquoise blue background, the vases feature two round panels, one with a colorful peacock and the other a scene populated with multiple warrior figures, two on white horses. Both panels have pink and green glaze highlights. Each vase has two golden lions as handles on the shoulders, and oval recessed bases. H. 14 1/4" (36.2 cm), D. 10 1/2" (26.6 cm) Condition: very good condition overall for age and use.
