A pair of Chinese famille rose jardinieres, dating from the 19th century. Rectangular shape with flat rims, corners curve inwards to smaller rectangular base. Each has two holes drilled into base for drainage. The bases are raised as well for water to drain out the bottom. Each of 4 sides features a detailed beautiful bird with a branch and pink flowers. Scrolling design in orange glaze on the flat rims. H. 5 1/2" (14 cm), L. 9" (22.8 cm), W. 6 1/2" (16.5 cm) Condition: One planter in good condition, with just age wear, the other clearly has cracks and old repairs to the entire body
