A Chinese famille rose floral jar with rounded cover, dating from the 19th century. This cylindrical jar has a carrot motif, with two carrots on each side with holes at the middle for threading a ring or a loop, and a rounded carrot finial on top of the lid. The design is pink with white flowers, and two panels on the body and cover which feature a bird in nature. H. 7" (17.8 cm) Condition: Good condition overall for age and use, with several small chips on the inside edge of the rim.
