A Chinese qianjian glazed vase with figures, dating from the Republic period. Over glaze enamel with theme of figures and an ox with trees on on this sizeable vase. Six lines of Character poetry on opposite side of image, and several line above beneath flared mouth. H. 22 3/4" (57.8 cm) Condition: good condition overall for age and use, with a small chip on inner edge of rim.
