A Chinese gilt bronze buddha figure, dating from the 19th century. Seated on an oval raised plinth cross legged in meditation position, the buddha has head and eyes cast downwards and holds a lotus in bowl with both hands on his lap. Detail in the placid face and robe embroidery. Hollow base sealed with metal and with raised design in center. H. 6" (15.2 cm) Condition: good condition overall with surface wear and gild fading
