A pair of Chinese porcelain Canton garden stools, 19th Century. Dense design of multiple figures in the garden, on top and around the center band. Top and bottom bands have multiple bird and floral designs. H. 19" (48 cm), D: 12.5" (31.7 cm) Provenance: Estate of Dr. Silvio Riccio, Internal Medicine Physician, Nanuet, New York originally purchased from C.T. Wan & Co importers & wholesalers of Fine Chinese Decorative Art, New York, NY, in Sept,1991, for $10,500. Condition: Good condition overall for age and use. some enamel loss to the top and one of the garden stool with touch ups to the enamel of the figures, but in overall good condition with no damage observed.
