A Chinese famille rose buddha figure, dating from the Qianlong period (1735-1796). Open base hollow porcelain figure of heavy-set seated buddha with characteristic long ear lobes. His green, orange and purple glazed robe is open to reveal his belly, and he is laughing. He is leaning towards his left side. H. 5 3/4" (14.6 cm) Provenance: Estate of Dr. Silvio Riccio,Internal Medicine Physician,Nanuet, New York Condition: thumb and index finger of right hand chipped off partially.
