The "front" of the screen features highly detailed scenes of daily life in China, with multiple figures and architecture depicted from an aerial view, so one can see into the distance. Extreme care was taken to render the trees and nature in great detail. Reverse side has gold design of bamboo trees connected by intricate decorative designs.
