Here is an exceptional hand painted lidded urn by noted artist Ester Miler. The urn features a boy and girl cherub with a basket of berries feeding the birds. The back side has two birds sitting together on a branch with pretty multicolored flowers. The background is done in pretty shades of mint and soft pink. The solid gold flowing handles and gold flamelike finial help to put the piece over the top and surely make it one of the finest examples of Miler’s work I have seen. MEASUREMENTS: it is 11” tall, 6 ½” across from handle to handle and 3 ¼” across the bottom MAKER: it is marked with the green Limoges D&Co. France mark and is artist signed “E.
