Beautifully rendered Japanese oribe box. This box is slab molded and sits on three legs. It is covered with a light colored slip, decorated in classical brownish black oribe detail and covered with a thick and dark green glaze. The makers stamp is impressed into the base. There is a fire crack that can be viewed in the last photo. I can provide more photos on request. The box measures 7.25 inches in length, 4.25 inches in width and 3 inches in height without the lid.
