A Chinese jade carved boy and beast, dating from the Qing dynasty. Roughly square in shape this pendant has a carved front and back. Front features a boy on the left playfully holding the curved tail above him of a creature carved on the right side. Reverse side shows the back of the scene. A small round nub on top has a red cord attached. H. 1 3/4" (4.4 cm) W. 1 5/8" (4.1 cm) Condition: in good condition overall with natural inclusion and fissure
