A Japanese silver gourd vase, dating from the Meiji period. Finely hammered silver gourd vase with elegant neck. Small mouth at top of gourd. Tiny rectangular stamp on base. Accompanied by a circular wooden stand and wooden box with string ties and paper glued to top with Japanese characters. H. 8 1/4" (20.1 cm) Condition: very good condition overall for age and use. Some surface wear at the base.
