A lovely and beautifully hand painted antique tall tankard mug c. 1895-1909. This was made by the Willets Manufacturingpany of Trenton, New Jersey. It is wonderfully decorated with currants and green leaves over a background of shaded blues and greens. The dragon handle is beautifully gilded. The mug stands 5 3/4" tall and tapers from a top diameter of 2 7/8" to a base diameter of 3 7/8". It's in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks and the gilding is intact. There is one tiny split on the dragon's tail which was likely done in manufacture and mentioned for accuracy. This is a fine piece of American Belleek porcelain and we're delighted to offer it.
