19th Century, French Barbotine, Majolica pitcher. The pitcher has a brown tree bark ground, with yellow birds feeding young fledgings in nest. There is an applied twig handle and lavender glazed inside. Pitcher has a crack at top but otherwise is in good condition with no chips or repairs. Pitcher measures 8 3/4 inches high, 6 3/4 inches handle thru spout and 4 1/2 inches front to back.
