Antique Petite White Ironstone Covered Tureen in Rococo Berry & Leaf motif. This lovely covered tureen is deliciously petite in size with a fancy footed base, this charmer is early, not marked. It is in the Atlantic shape of the 1850s and attributed to T&R Rootpany, Staffordshire, England. The leaf and berry embossed mold is lovely. It has a very small chip as pictured and some interior oil use staining again, as pictured. Ironstone was more porous then porcelain so we find some oil staining typically on pieces this old. It measures 8" overall in height and 8" wide.
