Nice Early Example of a Creamy Color Ironstone Coffee Pot decorated with copper Lustre on the edges with a copper leaf on the front. This is a very elegant design with the bamboo painted handle and spout in the esthetic style. This mark was used by Alfred Meakin til 1890, the coffee pot measures 9 1/2 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide from spout to handle. It is in very good vintage condition with only one small chip on the lid, the copper lustre is in beautiful condition, there is crazing in the glaze which is only to be expected of something 129 years old.
