A Set of Eight Chinese Painted Pottery Tiles Depicting The Eight Immortals. Each of the eight tiles moulded in the form of an Immortal holding various precious objects, sitting on clouds etc, one riding a phoenix. Cold painted in various coloured pigments. The size of each tile approximate 22cm x 18cm (8.5 x 7 inches). Provenance: from the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton.
