An Exceptionally LARGE Early Chinese Pottery Cocoon Jar with Oxford TL Test – Han Dynasty or Earlier. The surface decorated with repeated cord impressions and smooth vertical bands. Length 52cm (20.5 inches), height 44.5cm (17.5 inches). With Thermoluminescence Analysis Report from Oxford Authentication from 2000. Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD), Qin Dynasty (221 – 206 BC) or Warring States period (475 – 221 BC). Provenance: from the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton.
