A Chinese Song Dynasty Persimmon Glazed Porcelain Tea Bowl. This bowl is thinly-potted, the main body coated in a persimmon glaze, the rim coated in a clear glaze. The square-cut foot remains unglazed revealing the pale creamy-coloured body. Diameter 10cm (4 inches). No repair or restoration. Song Dynasty (AD 960 – 1279). Provenance: from the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton.
